LEARNING TO DRIVE ISN'T AS DIFFICULT AS YOU MIGHT THINK....
Having your first ever driving lesson can seem to be a nerve racking experience. Don't worry, my new starter lesson is presented and structured in a way to suit you and to make your introduction to driving as safe and enjoyable as possible.
This is what would happen on a typical introduction lesson:
- Introduction
- Drive to a quiet training area
- Quick eyesight check
- Vehicle controls lesson
- Cockpit drill lesson
- Move off and stop lesson
- Quick chat on how the lesson went
- Back home
A new starter lesson takes 2 hours - the first hour is completely free
WHAT IS PIGGYBACKING???
This is a system used by some instructors where lessons are booked back to back in an attempt to save the instructor travelling time and to keep costs down. The result can mean having a complete stranger sat in the back during some of your lesson. In some cases part of your lesson may be taken up ferrying the other pupil home.
I never use piggybacking as in my opinion it can put you under unecessary pressure and you are learning to pass your driving test, not to become a taxi driver.
